    Hi Pippin,

I installed your simple full screen background plugin with an image from my computer, but when I clicked save options and viewed my website it didnt change the background?

I am using the twenty thirteen theme, is that an issue?

    Thank you in advance

    • mike

I have the same problem…..don’t think this works!!

    • Pippin

Mike, what theme are you using?

Ryan, please accept my apologies for not getting back to you months ago. If you still have this issue and would like to try again, let me know.

    • Diana

Did you get an answer for this somehow? I have the same issue.

    • Pippin Williamson

The Twenty Thirteen theme adds its own background image / color that sits on top of the one added by my plugin, so this plugin is not compatible with Twenty Thirteen.

  2. Dustin

Same problem. Using Simple Grid theme and the background doesn’t change with the plugin

    • Pippin

Could you show me a live URL?

  3. Rohit Singh

Need custom background I made for a project site: http://capstoneteam2.x10host.com

on preview for background option that’s built in I can see the full width of custom background from your plug-in, but for some reason it still uses old background in the live site.

Hi love the plugin works great. I need to try and locate the image in my theme/website so i can insert an alt tag and width and height. Any idea where it would be located?

    Many thanks

    Danny

    • Pippin

You will need to edit the plugin files directly to add those.

  7. Mike

How were you able to keep the white background on the text area? I had to make migh real light so I could still see my text.

  8. Hinterland Woodworks

Amazing, thank you so much. I did this a couple years ago in an old site and it took forever, great plugin.

  9. Servis

This background width and height long setting ?

    • Pippin

No, it automatically sets the width and height to fullscreen.

  10. Helen Bastian

Is it possible to install a gradient background and type over it?

    • Pippin

No that is not supported in this plugin.

  11. dougaji

I just downloaded this and misunderstood the directions I thought it would let me set a background for a particular page/post. But it did it site wide. How do I undo it?

  12. dougaji

Does this enter some code in the stylesheet? Or where would I find it? to Change it?

  13. dougaji

Awesome that takes care of it. I will get it. I currently have TwentyThirteen still as a site theme will it work with that? I am planning on going to Avada in the future.

  14. Doug De Stefano

    Just purchased it because I saw that Twenty Thirteen has a wp_footer(); and wp_head();
But I just loaded it and did it for the page I wanted and its not working. I used the page id # first then I used the slug and still not showing up. I noticed i have the wp_footer(); and wp_head(); in the TwentyThirteen main code but I do have a Child Theme does it need to be in there too is that the problem? I am a neophyte with WP so keep that in mind. Thanks!

  15. Doug De Stefano

Never mind the last comment/request. It does show up. I just could’nt see it at the time as my browser page was expanded. Thank You!

  17. Bodil

Hi Pippin, thanks for the great plugin. I have more pages on my WordPress account so I’m wondering if I can somehow have the plugin activated only on one of the pages (I have a parent page, but also landing pages and would like to activate the plugin on a landing page)? Thanks again.
