Spam comments can be a serious problem. If your site has enough traffic, it’s likely that you experience massive numbers of spam comments getting caught by the spam filters. Occasionally you will need to go through and clear out the spam comments by using the Empty Spam button in the Comments page. If you have a large number of spam comments, this action will likely die part way through and possibly even take your server down. This is a simple plugin that modifies the empty spam process so that the deletion is performed in batches. With this method, you could feasibly delete millions of spam comments without ever taking down your server.

Deleting spam comments in one of the most boring and time consuming task. I think this would definitely help me to filter them. Let me try this plug-in and let you know the results 🙂
