There are a lot of ways that you can help out with and contribute to the WordPress project, but one of the easiest, and definitely most helpful, is by contributing to the expansion and improvement of the WordPress Codex. The next time that you come across a Function Reference page, or any other Codex page, that is lacking, take a few minutes to help improve it.
That’s such a great idea. It’s something that I normally never thought I can do. I mean, you get so busy, trying to figure out how a specific function or hook works and after you find what you need you tend to forget about contributing and giving back to the community.
I am sure that from now on I will be more aware of how I can contribute to the Codex. Thanks for bringing up this great idea!
