I have built several extensions for the great Ninja Forms plugin, and now I’d like to introduce another: Constant Contact. This extension allows you to easily create contacts and add them to any list in your Constant Contact account when forms are submitted.
If you use Ninja Forms and Constant Contact, this extension will be perfect for you in helping to build your contact list. If you haven’t used Ninja Forms before, I highly recommend you give the plugin a try, it’s free, after all.
What are the major functional differences between Ninja forms and Gravity forms? Nunja’s free option is very appealing
There are a lot of similarities, and a lot of differences. Probably the main difference is that Gravity Forms comes as a single package with all features included, whereas Ninja Forms uses optional extensions to add features like Conditional Logic and Front End Posting. The other main difference is simply that Gravity Forms is a commercial product and Ninja Forms is free, at least for the base plugin.
Each of them has their strengths. I’ve used both plugins extensively and really love them both.
Does the extension automatically import the name and email address of the person who filled out the form into our Constant Contact account? Does this interfere or in any way change the way that Ninja Forms allows me to retrieve the data collected from the form? Does the extension allow me to specify which fields are to be imported into Constant contact and which are not to be imported?
Yes, it imports those. No, it does not interfere in any way,
Can I use the Constant Contact add on in conjunction with the PayPal add on so the end result is that people can sign up for one of several membership levels, pay for it and then have all the data (name, address, email, date of sign up) automatically imported into the matching Constant Contact list?
You can use them in conjunction, but (at this time) you can only send name and email to Constant Contact.
I just purchased your Constant Contact integration and I have followed the instructions to get the API key and the access token. I have entered this information and it seems to not work. I do not see the contacts being added to my Constant Contact account.
Hey Mark,
Sorry for the slow reply. Have you opened a ticket at ninjaforms.com? They handle all support for this extension and others.
Do you have any examples/screen shots of the constant contact add on? I’d like to see it before I purchase it.
There isn’t really much to show. When a form is connected to Constant Contact, it will look exactly like any other form.
Using your plugin, could I set up a form that would allow users to check boxes (or something similar) for which Constant Contact list(s) they want to be on? We sort by geography, so it would be great to list the cities where we do workshops and let people choose which are relevant to them.
No, sorry, it does not support that.
If this addon could be made compatible for Formidable Pro too, That would be awesome! 😀
