Another month, another release! Today I’m happy to announce the release of Restrict Content Pro version 2.2. This version includes several significant improvements and a few minor bug fixes.

WooCommerce integration

In version 2.2, I have added improved support for restricting WooCommerce products. When using WooCommerce, you will have a new panel on your product edit screens called Access Control. This panel will allow you to restrict the visibility of the product and also set the subscription requirements necessary to purchase the product.

2-Factor authentication

Security is important. Really, really important. With version 2.2, I have added support for enabling 2-factor authentication through the popular Google Authenticator plugin. If you have Google Authenticator installed, the Google authentication code option will be automatically displayed on the login form shortcode for Restrict Content Pro.

Additional changes

While all minor changes, knowing what changed is important:

  • Usernames could not contain capital letters on multisite installations
  • Members’ payment profile IDs are now included in the CSV export
  • New action hooks added to login form template file
  • Members are now logged in once successfully completing the registration form
  • Fixed “unexpected output” notice during plugin activation

How do I install the update?

Updates notifications will be shown on the Plugins page for sites that have an active license key. If you have not entered or activated your license key, you can do so from Restrict > Settings.

If your license key has expired, you can renew it at a discount and you will be given immediate access to the update. Click here to renew your license key.

If you need to purchase a license key, click here to do so.

I used another content restriction plugin before, but I think Restrict Content Pro version 2.2 has more features than others. Going to check this plugin for sure.
