Today I’m thrilled to officially announce the launch of Apply Filters, the new WordPress development podcast I’m doing with Brad Touesnard.

Brad and I have always loved WordPress podcasts, but we have both wanted a more developer-oriented one that lets developers geek out without annoying the non-developer listeners, which is one of the main reasons we’ve paired up and launched Apply Filters.

The podcast will cover a huge range of topics, including WordPress core, plugins, themes, the business side of development, and more. The only real constraint is that the topics be about WordPress and about development within WordPress.

Along with the two of us, we will be bringing on frequent guest developers to talk about their own experiences and lend their thoughts to the discussions.

You can read more about the podcast in our introductory Hello World post.

Head on over to Apply Filters.fm to listen to episode one, WP 3.6 Heartbeat API and Audio/Video Embeds. You can also subscribe to the podcast via iTunes or RSS.

Sounds like a great idea Pippin, look forward to tuning in :-)

    Excellent initiative and creative.

    Hey Pippin,

I recall an episode a while back where you offered to review a plugin in exchange for a plugin developer reviewing your podcast. Does this offer still stand?

    • Pippin

      Yep!

    • Scott

Right on, Pippin. You will notice my review on your iTunes page, from January 9. It just so happens that I would appreciate a look at my recent plugin release:

My apologies if this is not the correct forum for this request, happy to talk elsewhere.

  4. Scott

Actually, hmmm… My plugin requires a paid Ecwid account to do much of anything, so unless you happen to have one, probably nevermind!

    • Pippin

I do not have one, sorry. If you can provide me with one, I’d be more than happy to take a look at it.

      Thanks for the review!
